This week I’ve got to make up for my lack of internet presence and thank a long time supporter of everything I have done so far. As a travel community everyone helps everyone, there is no (I hope) I’m better than you mentality. I do my best to return the RT’s on twitter or comments on my blog but recently I’ve found myself floundering in returning the good will bestowed upon me.
So for this Travel Blogger Friday post I want to thank Keith from www.traveling-savage.com. Not only does he continue to support me but everybody else as well. Oh and have you read his work? If you haven’t then start with this one about The Importance of the Quest and then move onto What’s Your Motivation to Travel.
It is because of people like Keith that such a community of great people can exist. I’ve met some of you on the road in the last 6-7 weeks and hopefully over time I’ll get to meet more of you. Each and every experience has left me with a smile from ear to ear and further enhanced the friendship that began over a blog post or a tweet.
If you have been on the fence about starting a blog for your travels then I say go for it. You’ll always get support from this part of the world.
Here here – I’ll second that cheers to Keith!
Thanks Andy.
Thanks Chris. I’ve had tons of fun following you and the scores of other great travel bloggers over the last six months. I really appreciate the shout-out here!
More than welcome Keith. There is just so many great people that I have either met or spoken to that how can you not love the community.
Having personally met Andy, with hopes to meet Keith and you Chris, I concur. Nobody has disappointed. 😉
oh you want to meet me Jeannie umm…. 🙂
Only if you flatter me ahhlot, then you can meet me. 🙂
It’s great knowing such a community is only a Tweet away. Good words.
Your not wrong Matt. So many times a single tweet has saved the day for me, especially while travelling.
