Working from home today due to the first snow of the winter season bringing London to a grinding halt, I saw a blog post feed into my rss reader than made me long for sun. Not only the sun but the beach and the relaxing afternoons that I had experienced during my trips to Asia.
The blog post came from Kate at adventurouskate.com. She’s just passed her 1 month on the road milestone and while I remember my first month travelling Europe it’s nothing compared to what this girl’s been up too.
How does being an extra in a german movie sound as a way to pass the day? or what about getting to lay around on the beach and soak up the sun before watching a sunset at Koh Lanta.
If this first month is anything to go by then I can’t wait to see what else Kate gets involved in. I’ll say this though I hope she finds her way to Europe at some point so I can get involved in all the fun with her.

I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying the blog. And I’m considering changing flights and hitting up Scandinavia for a bit (as I’ve met so many Scandinavians here in Thailand!) on the way back, so maybe we will get to meet up after all!
