As I’ve just recently passed my 12 months of pretending to be a travel blogger, I’ve found myself searching the travel alleyways for other new travel blogs that I can follow and relive my earlier travel planning days.
On this search I have found some great blogs that even at their early stage have me coming back each week to read. So this week I want to share Ashlea’s blog, ashleaabroad.com with you all.
Unlike others who are travelling to Australia; Asia or the UK like me, Ashlea is off on a working holiday in Germany. And when you find this quote “the only female on earth who finds a man in lederhosen irresistible” in someone’s About page you know its going to be a story you want to read.
A constant fear for me when going through the application for my visa was that my passport would get lost in the post. Ashlea was one of those few that had to deal with a lost passport which has now delayed her trip, which I hear as deeply saddened the lederhosen wearing men of Germany.
She has also amassed a fairly extensive bucket list that would make any of us jealous, I mean who wouldn’t want to sleep in an igloo. Oh and there is some good tips if your trying to learn a second or third language.
I can tell its going to fun a fun blog to follow so you should all go and get on board as well.
