One of the big things I love about Europe is that each street I walk down is littered with history. From the stones under your feet to the houses that line up either side and finally to the people who dwell within the walls. These streets have watched as time just passed them on by while we lived around them and I can’t help but get lost in my imagination […]

St Pete Beach Sunset
There’s a lot to like about a good summer sunset. It signals the end of a day where you can sit back, relax, grab a cool drink and reflect on the day’s events. The above view was taken from the balcony of our hotel after having crossed Florida from St Augustine on the east coast of America. A worthy reward for having survived the drive I think.

Robe Foreshore, South Australia
Robe has been a popular destination in my part of Australia for as far as I can remember. Be it a summer holiday, to celebrate the new year or just relax along the stunning Robe foreshore with a bundle of fish and chips. It’s the perfect little coastal stop off and with a view like this right in middle of town its easy to see why huh?

Even if you don’t want to see the falls I highly recommend the drive but be sure your car has the power to handle the climb. Upon reaching Mackenzie Falls […]
Portree Harbour, Isle of Skye
Portree Harbour is surrounded by cliffs which sets a stunning view for anybody looking to take a stroll along the waters edge and wharf. Portree itself is the biggest town on the Isle of Skye and a really quaint place to stop off and spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. I can also recommend a quick bite at Cafe Arriba […]
