Leamaneh Castle is hidden away in a region of county Clare in Ireland known as the Burren. I’d have never even driven past it had I not got a tip from the owner of a local bakery in Ennistymon. Located on the very scenic R476 that winds its way across the Burren its a worthwhile drive even if the castle above doesn’t interest you.
great little gem! Gotta love the locals tips
Hi Rebecca, it was a nice surprise to drive round a corner and find this before me. The most difficult think about stopping for a photo was finding a place to park on the narrow roads.
