Apalachicola Trinity Episcopal Church

Trinity Episcopal Church Apalachicola Florida

The Apalachicola Trinity Episcopal Church is said to be one of the early prefabricated buildings in America. The original building was constructed in New York before being floated down the Atlantic coast and around the keys into Apalachicola. A commendable effort considering how far that is and that is was all done by sail boats of the time.

For me though I just loved the way the morning sun hits the building. With the trees all around and that quintessential white of the church it makes for a great image I think. Not to mention all the history that would go along with a church that’s been around since the 1800’s.

Ugh, this Melburnian feels your pain. I’ve always found that finding a continuing series on the inflight entertainment is a gem. You don’t need the attention span required for a movie (great if, like me, you can’t eat or sleep at all on planes and just sort of writhe in despair the whole time) and you can kill a good five hours without realising. So thank you, Downton Abbey.
